Social Security & Medicare Workshop
This course will address the following topics:
- How Social Security benefits are calculated and which factors influence your monthly income.
- The role of age, work history, and lifetime earnings in determining your Social Security benefit amount.
- How Social Security fits into your broader retirement income strategy and long-term financial planning.
- How Medicare works alongside other insurance, such as employer coverage, retiree benefits, and supplemental plans.
- A complete overview of Medicare, including Parts A, B, C, and D.
- The key differences between Medicare Advantage plans and Medicare Supplement (Medigap) plans, and how to choose the best option for your needs.
- How and when to enroll in Medicare, including important enrollment periods and deadlines.
- The impact of delaying Medicare enrollment and how late-enrollment penalties can affect your long-term costs.
