\nShe serves on the Network Advisory Committee of The Obesity Society\, the Editorial Board of Obesity Pillars\, and is a Medical Advisor for key industries in the field. She is the current Vice President of the Florida \;Obesity Society. \;

\nHer research has been published in relevant medical journals \;including The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition\, Diabetes Care\, and The Journal of Clinical \;Endocrinology &\; Metabolism. \;Her latest work explores an FDA-cleared Class II device for nausea relief in people taking GLP1s (like Ozempic and Mounjaro). \;

Councilmember and Former Mayor of Palm Beach Gardens\, is an award-winning leader with decades of experience in business development and philanthropy. She is also the Managing Director of Corporate Development at Republic Capital Group and Principal Consultant for Smith Reed Partners. Chelsea loves the quality of life in her hometown of Palm Beach Gardens and\, with her husband of 30 years\, Michael\, has raised two children and built their careers in Palm Beach County.
\n\nShe enjoys providing professional and student mentorship and is a popular public speaker. In her free time\, she is a trail and ultra-relay runner\, adventure traveler\, and water sport athlete.
