No walk-in guests will be permitted for this event.\n\n\n\nThe Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce Small Business Advisory Council presents CEO Connection featuring Rick Vymlatil as Chief Executive Officer of the South Florida Fair.\n\n\n\nWednesday\, December 7th is the rescheduled date of this event\, originally scheduled for Thursday\, October 6th and postponed due to Hurricane Matthew.\n\n\n\nAbout the Speaker:\n\n\n\nRick Vymlatil has served as President/CEO of the South Florida Fair & Palm Beach County Expositions\, Inc. since July\, 2004.  In this position he is responsible for overseeing every aspect of the Fair and Fairgrounds operations. He supervises a staff of 48 full time employees.\n\n \n\nRick entered the Fair industry in November of 1982 as Assistant General Manager of the South Florida Fair.  During his 32nd year in this industry\, he also served as Manager of the St. Lucie County Fair in Fort Pierce for 2   years and as Executive Director of the Florida State Fair in Tampa for 8 years. Currently he serves on the Board of the International Association of Fairs and Expositions as Second Vice-Chair.   Rick is a past Chair of Florida Federation of Fairs\, the Mid West Fairs Association and the Florida Festival & Events Association.  He was inducted into the Florida Federation of Fairs Hall of Fame in 2003.\n\n \n\nLocally\, Rick is a Trustee of the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches and the Central Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce as well as a Board Member of the Law Enforcement Assistance Foundation(LEAF).  He and his wife\, Denise\, reside in Tequesta.
