DESCRIPTION:S.H.E. Seminars: Smart. Honest. Effective\n\n\n\nWelcome to our Women In Business Council's open forum discussion with women business leaders who share ideas on ways to manage business successfully. The object of the meeting is to empower professional business women to develop and execute solutions to overcome the challenges they face in their business or professional environment. **This is a hybrid event** Members can join in-person at the Chamber OR via Zoom (receive link after registration). This event is exclusively for women.\n\n\n\n\n\nOur Facilitator is: \n\n\n\n\n\nKim Lea\, Ed. S.\n\nKimberly Lea is a visionary higher education and workforce leader with over 30 years of experience in academic affairs\, community engagement\, and organizational transformation. She is known for her collaborative leadership style\, strategic insight\, and deep commitment to connecting people and ideas to create meaningful impact.\n\n \n\nKim serves as Dean of Workforce Education and Development at Palm Beach State College\, providing districtwide leadership across multiple disciplines\, securing state and federal funding to expand workforce pathways\, and driving innovative programs aligned with regional labor needs. Her earlier tenure as Campus President of Keiser University's flagship campus strengthened her expertise in accreditation\, enrollment growth\, and organizational leadership. She is also the founder of Kim Lea Consulting\, LLC\, where she partners with organizations and leaders through executive coaching\, strategic planning\, and workforce innovation. Kim is certified as a Predictive Index consultant and uses a variety of tools to help develop leaders.\n\n \n\nA lifelong advocate for women's advancement\, Kim mentors emerging and established woman leaders through S.H.E. Smart\, Honest\, Effective) sessions with the Palm Beach North Chamber\, Leadership Palm Beach County\, and the Women's Foundation of Florida. Her work centers on helping others lead boldly\, cultivate resilience\, and create authentic professional and personal growth.\n\n \n\nKim currently serves on multiple boards including and is the immediate past president of Leadership Palm Beach County. She is also a graduate of Leadership Florida's Education Class and continues to serve on the Gulfstream Council.\n\n \n\nHer accolades include the Leadership Excellence Award(2019)\, Women's Chamber Giraffe Award (2018)\, and Central Palm Beach Chamber Woman of Worth Award (2012).\n\n \n\nKim holds an Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree from Keiser University\, an M.B.A. from Florida Atlantic University\, and a B.S. from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania. She is currently completing her Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) at the American College of Education.\n\n \n\nA lifelong learner and "curiosity curator\," Kim is passionate about building communities of collaboration and helping others discover their purpose\, amplify their potential\, and lead with authenticity. Kim lives in Jupiter and has raised four grown children who live and work locally. Kim's passions include world travel\, mindfulness and enjoying time with her five adorable grandbabies.\n\n\n\nOur Women In Business Council is a working council of the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce that promotes networking and education for professional women and women entrepreneurs while highlighting the women leaders in the community.\n\n\n\nEvent Cancellation Policy:\n\nA notice of cancellation must be received by email within 48 hours (2 business days) prior to the event. NO verbal cancellations will be accepted. All cancellation notices received within 48 hours (2 business days) prior to the event will be given an event credit of equal value. Event credits will be  applied upon request and are good for up to 1 year from the purchase date. There are NO REFUNDS.\n\n \n\nNOTE:\n\nArtiGras Tickets\, Loggerhead Triathlon Registrations\, and The Leadership Awards Dinner do not qualify for an event credit upon cancellation.
