Join Palm Beach County Library System Director\, Douglas Crane\, for an overview of free resources and services available to the business community and job seekers at your local branch.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSpeaker: Douglas Crane\n\n\n\n\n\nBio:\n\nDoug Crane began his career with the Palm Beach County Library System as a children's librarian in 1998. He was appointed Library Director in 2014\, and has spoken at national conferences on topics such as office productivity and leadership. Doug is the author of the articles\, "May I Ask You a Question? Lessons Learned from Interviewing Public Library Leaders"\; "Efficient Librarianship   A New Path for the Profession" and "Go For It! Advice From Library Directors" all published in Public Libraries magazine.  In 2021\, Doug was honored as the Florida Librarian of the Year by the Florida Library Association where he currently serves as Vice-President. He shares his musings at www.efficientlibrarian.com.\n\n\n\n\n \n\n	\n		\n			Event Cancellation Policy:\n\n			A notice of cancellation must be received by e-mail within 48 hours (2 business days) prior to the event. NO verbal cancellations will be accepted. Cancellations under 48 hours prior to the event\, will NOT receive event credit in order to solidify attendance numbers with the event venue. All cancellation notices received BEFORE 48 hours (2 business days) prior to the event will be given an event credit of equal value. Event credits will be applied upon request and are good for up to 1 year from the purchase date. There are NO REFUNDS. \n			NOTE:\n\n			Premier Events (ArtiGras Tickets / Loggerhead Triathlon Registrations) and Special Events (The Leadership Awards Dinner / Holiday Mixer / Business 2 Baseball / Golf Classic) do not qualify for an event credit upon cancellation. Contributions or gifts to the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.
