DESCRIPTION:Join us for the 3rd Annual Palm Beach North Valor and Community Service Awards to be given to First Responder honorees within Palm Beach North. The selected award recipients will be honored at an awards ceremony on Wednesday\, April 28\, 2020 at the Eissey Campus Theatre at Palm Beach State College.\n\n\n\nThe Valor Award will be awarded to first responders who demonstrate exceptional courage above and beyond the call of duty\, regardless of personal safety\, in order to save another person's life or protect them from harm. \n\n\n\nThe Community Service Award will be awarded to first responders who have given back to their community by selflessly volunteering their time to a non-profit agency\, organization\, community group or project that benefits the community within the boundaries of Palm Beach North.\n\n\n\nThe Call of the Year Award recognizes one outstanding call from a Fire/Rescue department and one outstanding call from a Police Department.\n\n\n\nPalm Beach North Chamber of Commerce Covid Event Protocols. \n\n\n\nMasks are required to be worn at all time. Masks will not be provided. \n\nIn person attendance at events carries with it the inherent risk of contracting the Covid-19 virus. The Chamber encourages the implementation of CDC guidelines but cannot ensure that infections will not occur.
