South Florida has emerged as a global hub for groundbreaking neuroscience research, earning the name “The Brain Coast.” For more than two decades, leading institutions in Palm Beach County have advanced our understanding of the brain, from mapping neural circuits to developing innovative treatments for Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and other neurological conditions.
Join the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce for a special Business Before Hours featuring leaders from The Herbert Wertheim UF Scripps Institute, the FAU Stiles-Nicholson Brain Institute, and the Max Planck Florida Institute for Neuroscience. Together, they will explore how brain science is evolving from discovery to real-world impact.
This engaging conversation will highlight how neuroscience is shaping not only healthcare but also education, business, and public policy, and how it is transforming research into meaningful treatments, technologies, and solutions.
At the center of the discussion is the Brain Coast vision: a collaborative effort to position South Florida as a leading brain health ecosystem. By advancing research and education, engaging the community, and driving innovation, this coordinated approach aims to strengthen brain health, support mental resilience, and create lasting regional and global impact.
