Managing Director, PGA National Resort & Spa
Before accepting his role as the Managing Director at the PGA National Resort & Spa, Jeff enjoyed the Sarasota life as the General Manager of The Resort at Longboat Key Club. Prior to that Mayers was the General Manager at the Sawgrass Golf Resort & Spa, a Marriott Resort, located in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. His career has also taken him to many locations predominately in southeastern Florida. He has also held executive positions with Interstate Hotels & Resorts and PCH Hotels & Resorts.
With expertise in areas of operational efficiencies, brand repositioning, major renovation projects, elite members clubs, and customer service excellence, Mayers has enjoyed a career that has provided opportunities to grow and further develop his skillset.
Mayers is a firm believer in supporting community and destination tourism development. Aside from his previous board position on the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association Suncoast Chapter, he served on the Board of Directors of the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce, the Longboat Key Chamber of Commerce, Visit Sarasota and was also the Chairman of the Board for the Longboat Key Foundation. Finally, he participated as an Advisory Committee member for the University of South Florida’s School of Hospitality & Technology Leadership.
Mayers is a graduate of the University of Maryland and a sports enthusiast!
