Calling all educators! The River Center is hosting a Project Wild/Aquatic combination workshop on Saturday, October 28th from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. This is a free event and all materials are provided. This educator training is open to anyone interested in gaining more opportunities to learn about teaching outdoor wildlife activities like formal teachers, non-formal nature center educators, youth group leaders, volunteers, scout troop leaders, or citizens that work with young people. The goal of Project WILD is to assist students of any age in developing awareness, knowledge, skills, and commitment to result in informed decisions, responsible behavior and constructive actions concerning wildlife and the environment.
