The Culture of Now: Marketing in the Social Era
Explore how movements, memes, and moments are reshaping marketing today. This session examines key platforms and emerging trends and introduces the role of influencers alongside other foundational elements of social media. Participants will gain practical guidance on creating purposeful, strategic content, learn best practices, discover tools for maintaining a consistent visual identity, and uncover strategies to engage audiences through authentic emotion.

Presenter: Elana Kerr, Director of Media, PATHOS
Elana Kerr is a seasoned marketing executive with extensive experience leading integrated media strategy across paid, owned, and earned channels. A graduate of NYU, she began her career in New York City, supporting major brands including Marriott, Procter & Gamble, Unilever, and HSBC. She currently serves as Head of Media and Digital Marketing at PATHOS, where she oversees the planning and execution of cross-channel campaigns that drive measurable results for a diverse portfolio of clients.

In addition to her professional work, Elana is deeply engaged in community leadership and mentorship. She is a current participant in the Jewish Federation’s Emerging Leadership 2025–2026 cohort and serves on the Board of Directors of the Mandel JCC of the Palm Beaches. She is a 2024 graduate of Leadership Central Palm Beach County and a mentor with Junior Achievement’s 3DE program.

Photo Release Policy:
By attending this event, you hereby give the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce, their assigns, licenses, and legal representatives the irrevocable right to use, at no cost, your name (or any fictional name), picture, portrait, photograph, visual, and/or voice recording and likeness, in all forms and media and in all manners, including photo, film, audio, video, and all social media representations, for nonprofit, public or educational purposes, and waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product, including written copy that may be created in connection therewith, and any claim or right to compensation for such use.

Event Cancellation Policy:
A notice of cancellation must be received by e-mail within 48 hours (2 business days) prior to the event. NO verbal cancellations will be accepted. Cancellations under 48 hours prior to the event, will NOT receive event credit in order to solidify attendance numbers with the event venue. All cancellation notices received BEFORE 48 hours (2 business days) prior to the event will be given an event credit of equal value. Event credits will be applied upon request and are good for up to 1 year from the purchase date. There are NO REFUNDS.

NOTE:
Premier Events (ArtiGras Tickets / Loggerhead Triathlon Registrations) and Special Events (The Leadership Awards Dinner / Holiday Mixer / Business 2 Baseball / Golf Classic) do not qualify for an event credit upon cancellation. Contributions or gifts to the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.
