Emily M. O’Mahoney, FASLA, LEED®AP BD+C, Partner at 2GHO, has been a registered landscape architect in private practice since 1980.  She designs award-winning projects from single-family residential, parks to mixed-use new urbanism development with emphases on the details that make a space successful in a sustainable manner.  As a Fellow in her professional society, ASLA, she has served as the Florida Trustee, Chapter President, Government Affairs and Education Chairs. Emily mentors emerging landscape architects towards becoming licensed, students in landscape architecture, and other professional women.  Accessibility is considered Emily’s technical specialty, teaching on the state and national levels. Niki L. Norton, R.A.—principle architect—is head of n2 architecture + design, and is an active leader of her community. She is currently the President of CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women),  Martin County Historic Preservation Board Member, Jensen Beach Chamber of Commerce Board member, United States Green Building Council (USGBC), the Florida Green Building Coalition (FGBC), and the first female  Vice President of Treasure Coast Builders Associate (TCBA). Jessica Clasby is the Director of the Florida Sugar Cane League in Palm Beach County. Katie Thompson currently serves as the Vice President of Education at Junior Achievement of the Palm Beaches and Treasure Coast. She received her Bachelor of Arts in English Education and her Master’s degree in Educational Leadership both from Florida Atlantic University. Katie has 10+ years of experience in the field of education, most recently serving as a high school Assistant Principal. Elle Harrigan is the Vice President for Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida (GSSEF), the premiere girl leadership organization. Continuing her nonprofit-focused career, Elle Harrigan started with GSSEF three year ago, joining the team for the council’s largest grant and capital campaign to ensure girl scouting is available to all girls. Founded in 2018, The Lockhart District Modeling Agency began to serve as a space where people of all colors, shapes and sizes can cultivate portfolios recognized by major fashion brands, and most importantly, inspire. A former model, Alexis Lockhart desired to equip models with tools of leadership and community engagement,  as well as runway, print, and commercial experience. Since its inception, several District Models have been invited to participate in New York Fashion Week, LA Fashion Week, and Miami Swim Week. The District Models are led to be Leaders of light, guided by Mathew 5:14. With every picture, runway, or video, The Lockhart District’s purpose is to spread light. 

About the Founder

At the age of 12, sitting in the front row of the EBONY FASHION FAIR, Alexis was inspired by beautiful women who were confident, strong, and most importantly, looked like her. At that moment, she understood the power of representation and started the journey of creating a platform to do just that. Today, that platform has grown to  produce several fashion experiences, giving hundreds of diverse models an opportunity at a modeling career with their voices heard and empowered to inspire.

Angel Adams, Special Events and Marketing Coordinator for the Education Foundation of Palm Beach County, is a passionate leader in the nonprofit community. She is the immediate past Chair of the Palm Beach North Chamber’s Women in Business Council and the creator of the highly successful Mentorship Bootcamp. Angel attended Daytona State College, receiving degrees in Photographic Technology and Supervision and Management. She loves the beach, traveling, golf and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. Angel is an avid sports fan following the Yankees, Washington Commanders, and the Bruins. (HHRC) in West Palm Beach.  In her role as CEO, Dr. DesRosiers oversees two child development centers and programming that supports families in a diverse community.  Dr. DesRosiers has had a long career working in non-profit organizations and prestigious higher education institutions of influence such as Dominican College, NYU, Barnard College, Pitzer College, and Fordham University.  She is an active board member of Opportunity, Inc. and the Friends of MacArthur Beach State Park.  Fabiana is a graduate of Leadership Palm Beach County and devotes her free time on committees of influence for several organizations, such as 211 Helpline, Clinics Can Help, Leadership Palm Beach County, Education Foundation, and North Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. DesRosiers earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology and Spanish from Binghamton University, a Master’s Degree in Developmental Psychology from Fordham University, and Ph.D. in Applied Developmental Psychology also from Fordham University.  In 2021, Fabiana received the Women’s Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County’s Giraffe Award in education. In 2011, she received the Outstanding First Year Student Advocate award from Cengage Learning and the National Resource Center for the First Year Experience and Students in Transition. This award is given to select individuals in recognition of their exceptional work in improving the educational experience of first year students.   Dr. DesRosiers also completed her WSET Level 2 intermediate Certificate in Wine and Spirits in 2009. Always a lifelong learner, Fabiana believes that education is her avocation first and vocation second.
