IT Help Desk -VOIP

Job description
This is not an entry-level position. Seeking candidates with a minimum of 3+ years’ experience in an IT support environment. Preferably in an MSP.
The IT Help Desk role is responsible for supporting a wide variety of clients and systems almost entirely remotely. Clear and concise communication skills (written and verbal) are equally as important as technical ability. The proper candidate will be motivated to take on new challenges and expand their technical knowledge. This position will be exposed to many different environments and systems providing ample opportunities for growth in your field.
Looking for a candidate that meets the following criteria:

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Act as a final point of escalation for the most critical, severe, and complex issues
  • Experience troubleshooting the most difficult problems involving hardware and software
  • Experience working with and troubleshooting new and unfamiliar software
  • Ability to jump into new, complex, and unique environments and adapt quickly to diagnose and troubleshoot problems.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills.
  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Ability to work with team members
  • Strong technical background
  • Desire to solve complex problems

  • Windows 10/11
  • Windows Server 2012-2022
  • Office 365 and Exchange Administration
  • Active Directory - extensive
  • VOIP / SIP / Grandstream GDMS / Etc.
  • Hyper-V
  • Network Printers and Deployment
  • Advanced Hardware and Software Troubleshooting
  • Powershell
  • MSP Experience
  • PFSense
  • Ubiquiti Equipment
  • Connectwise Ticketing
  • Connectwise Automate / Screenconnect
Jo Schedule:
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • On call
  • Active Directory: 3 years (Preferred)
  • System administration: 3 years (Required)
  • Microsoft Windows Server: 4 years (Preferred)
  • Linux / PBX / SIP: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Linux: 2 years (Required)
Work Location: MSP office; some field work (limited)
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
