Nourishing Food For Thought is a 501.c.3 nonprofit working homestead-style farm dedicated to strengthening community health and connection through hands-on regenerative agriculture, nutritional and culinary education, and outdoor learning experiences. Our farm includes milking cows and other food-producing animals, giving children, families, and community members the rare opportunity to learn directly from a real working farm environment where they experience firsthand where milk, meat, eggs, and produce come from.
Our programs help people reconnect with the land, understand the value of real food, and develop practical life skills while building confidence, curiosity, and meaningful community relationships.
In 2025, our programs created thousands of hours of hands-on learning and connection:
-
Over 8,600 hours of screen-free outdoor experiences that encouraged movement, play, and connection to nature
-
More than 3,600 hours of regenerative agriculture education and hands-on animal care
-
Nearly 1,000 hours of nutritional and culinary education focused on understanding food and how it nourishes our bodies
-
Almost 2,900 hours dedicated to social-emotional growth, community building, and relationship-centered learning
Through interactive farm-based experiences, Nourishing Food For Thought provides accessible opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to engage with real food systems, outdoor learning, and holistic well-being.
