About Us
Dr. Kurt Walker is a doctor of audiology who has been practicing in the Jupiter area for over ten years. In December of 2024 he and his wife, Jennifer, opened Palm View Audiology and Speech Therapy to provide the community with advanced hearing and speech-language services. In order to be able to provide the best service and most up to date evidence-based treatment, we realized we could only do that by opening our own clinic. Jennifer Walker is a speech-language pathologist with 13 years of experience in speech, language, and swallowing (dysphagia) therapy in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Dr. Walker has advanced training in fitting hearing aids from all manufacturers and completed his fellowship at Mayo Clinic researching vestibular (balance) disorders related to the inner ear. He enjoys using the latest technology to program hearing aids and is a consultant with multiple hearing aid and balance testing companies.
Jennifer Walker specializes in patient populations that include complex medical histories, acute neurologic disorders (traumatic brain injury, stroke), progressive neurologic disorders (Parkinson’s Disease, Alzheimer’s Dementia, ALS, Myasthenia Gravis, and ALS), and Head and Neck Cancer. She has worked in various outpatient settings and private pay concierge therapy services throughout her career, as well. Jennifer’s experience in acute care performing highly specialized videofluoroscopic swallow studies, allows for in depth understanding of diagnosis of dysphagia (swallowing problems) to provide the most effective treatment plan.
