Hi! My name is Chiara Basurto. I am the Administrative Assistant and Office Manager at The Learning Center. I moved from Oahu, Hawaii in 2015 for my children to receive the best educational services. I have two amazing children that attend TLC. I have a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Florida International University. I am a Florida Certified Teacher in Exceptional Special Education with an Endorsement in Autism Spectrum Disorder, and I am currently working on my master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Barry University. I am originally from Miami, Florida. I come from a family of foreign diplomats; my grandfather was former Peruvian Ambassador, one of my uncles is currently serving in Milan, Italy as a Peruvian Ambassador, three other uncles are serving Peru as diplomats, and my aunt is a US Diplomat-they are all serving around the world.
