Fabiana DesRosiers, Ph.D., serves as the Chief Executive Officer for the Hispanic Human Resources Council, Inc. (HHRC) in West Palm Beach. In her role as CEO, Dr. DesRosiers oversees two child development centers and programming that supports families in a diverse community. Dr. DesRosiers has had a long career working in non-profit organizations and prestigious higher education institutions of influence such as Dominican College, NYU, Barnard College, Pitzer College, and Fordham University. She is an active board member of Opportunity, Inc. and the Friends of MacArthur Beach State Park. Fabiana is a graduate of Leadership Palm Beach County and devotes her free time on committees of influence for several organizations, such as 211 Helpline, Clinics Can Help, Leadership Palm Beach County, Education Foundation, and North Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. DesRosiers earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology and Spanish from Binghamton University, a Master’s Degree in Developmental Psychology from Fordham University, and Ph.D. in Applied Developmental Psychology also from Fordham University. In 2021, Fabiana received the Women’s Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County’s Giraffe Award in education. In 2011, she received the Outstanding First Year Student Advocate award from Cengage Learning and the National Resource Center for the First Year Experience and Students in Transition. This award is given to select individuals in recognition of their exceptional work in improving the educational experience of first year students. Dr. DesRosiers also completed her WSET Level 2 intermediate Certificate in Wine and Spirits in 2009. Always a lifelong learner, Fabiana believes that education is her avocation first and vocation second.
