I am a former business owner and management professional. I have been volunteering at the House of Feathers and find it very rewarding.
Sonya provides a sanctuary for Parrots and other birds that have been given up by their owners for various reasons. Many of these magnificent animals are available for adoption to the right person/family. Others are permanent residents.
We are always interested in volunteers who can help feed and care for these guys. Most of all, we would love for volunteers to come and socialize with these very intelligent and entertaining animals.
Of course, any financial support is always very much appreciated!
