WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Lesser, Landy, Smith & Siegel, PLLC is pleased to announce that Austin R. Diaz has joined the firm as an attorney in its West Palm Beach office.
Diaz focuses his practice on catastrophic personal injury and complex civil litigation, including vehicular negligence, trucking, maritime, premises liability, products liability, construction defect, negligent security, and medical malpractice matters in both state and federal courts.
Diaz previously worked at one of Florida’s most prominent insurance defense firms, where he represented insureds and carriers in high-stakes litigation. He then spent several years litigating plaintiff personal injury cases at a boutique law firm in West Palm Beach.
“Austin is a talented attorney and we’re proud to have him join our growing team,” Managing Partner Gary Lesser said. “He brings strong litigation skills and gets great results for his clients. We look forward to working with Austin for many years to come.”
Diaz is licensed to practice in all County and Circuit Courts in Florida, as well as the Florida Supreme Court and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. He is an active member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association, where he serves on the Judicial Relations and Law Related Education committees. He is an Executive Board Member of the Craig S. Barnard American Inn of the Court, and a member of The Florida Bar’s Young Lawyers Division.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity to join such a respected team and work alongside attorneys who are deeply committed to their clients and their community,” Diaz said.
Born and raised in Miami, Diaz earned his law degree from the Florida State University College of Law, where he was a member of the nationally top-ranked Trial Team. He also studied comparative law at Oxford University in England.
For nearly a century, the attorneys of Lesser, Landy, Smith and Siegel, PLLC have fought for justice on behalf of individuals and families throughout Florida who have been injured or suffered the loss of a loved one due to negligence or wrongdoing. Diaz’s addition to the team of skilled trial attorneys strengthens the Firm’s dedication to advocating for victims and delivering the results they deserve.
