Friends of Manatee Lagoon Announces New Board Member

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (August 22, 2024)Friends of Manatee Lagoon (FoML), a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting manatees in Florida’s coastal regions through restoring and protecting their habitat, is pleased to announce award-winning financial advisor and well-known civic leader Paul Wieseneck will serve on its board of directors.
 
“It’s a privilege to have such a distinguished group of influential leaders helping steer FoML’s critical initiatives. I am always incredibly grateful for their support and the time they dedicate to our efforts educating the community about manatees and their threats, protecting seagrass as their primary food source, and engaging in marine life conservation efforts that will help safeguard manatees and their vital ecosystem for generations. We have a committed group of very active Directors helping to shape the future health and welfare of manatees and ultimately all marine life,” said Anne Messer, executive director of FoML.
 
Paul is Tax Director of Fuoco Group’s Tax and Accounting practice, and Senior Investment Advisor, Social Security Analyst, and a Partner in TFG Financial Advisors, a division of The Fuoco Group. A trusted advisor to high-net worth individuals, business owners, entities, estates, and entrepreneurs, he is highly sought on tax planning, estate and trust issues, business operations, and investments and retirement planning. With over 40 years as a CPA, Paul joined The Fuoco Group in 2009, merging in Wieseneck Andres & Co. TFG Financial Advisors won “Best” Financial Advisor in 2021, 2022, and 2023, awarded by The Palm Beach Post.
 
A graduate of Long Island University with a BA in Accounting, Paul often authors articles, lectures on tax issues, and acts as expert panelist. He is past treasurer of the Palm Beach County Medical Society, member of the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce, Palm Beach Chamber member, and Village of North Palm Beach Pension Board Member.
 
Paul Wieseneck joins FoML’s current Board of Directors Pamela Rauch and Kate Cotner, both with Florida Power & Light Company; Jack Lighton, Sustainability Champion; Michele Jacobs, Economic Council of Palm Beach County; John Butler, Community Volunteer; Carrie Hanna, GUNSTER; Noel Martinez, Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce; and Nika Ciarfella, entrepreneur and philanthropist.
