Palm Beach County Tax Collector Honored With Two National Awards

WEST PALM BEACH, FL — Palm Beach County Tax Collector Anne M. Gannon is pleased to announce that her organization has recently been honored with two national customer service awards.

Association of Government Customer Care Professionals (AGCCP) Award of Distinction

On October 7, Gannon and Chief Operations Officer James McConnell accepted the Award of Distinction from the Association of Government Customer Care Professionals (AGCCP) at that organization’s annual conference, held this year in Louisville, KY.

The 2026 Award of Distinction recognizes a customer service team that adheres to the AGCCP’s “Triple Crown of Service: Accountability, AI and Human Connection.” The award highlights the organization’s customer-facing operations team, comprising more than 200 customer service employees who assist clients and process transactions in the organization’s six service centers.

“I am extremely proud of our team for embodying our mission to provide unparalleled service that inspires trust,” said Gannon. “It is a true honor to be recognized on a national level for our commitment to service. Our goal is to have the right people, using the right technology, in order to provide exceptional service to our clients in Palm Beach County.”

National Customer Service Association (NCSA) 2026 Service All-Star Award

Additionally, Anne Gannon and the Client Care and Research Center (CCRC) —the organization’s dedicated call center — have been honored with the 2026 NCSA Service All-Star Award by the National Customer Service Association.

The NCSA All-Star Award is designed to shine a light on the people and organizations whose commitment to exceptional service makes a meaningful difference to their customers, colleagues, and communities.
"Earning the NCSA Team of the Year award is a well-deserved national recognition of what I witness firsthand every single day — a team that sets the gold standard for excellence in public service,” said Gannon. “This prestigious honor belongs entirely to our Client Care and Research Center team, whose extraordinary empathy, deep expertise, and relentless dedication make a profound impact on our community every single day."
