Job Overview
Our client is a growing law firm specializing in Probate, Estate, and Guardianship Litigation. They are expanding their North Palm Beach office and seeking a seasoned professional to join the team.
As a Litigation Paralegal, you will be providing essential support throughout every stage of the contested probate and trust process. The ideal candidate brings at least 5 years of litigation experience and a proven track record of managing complex estate matters with precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing and coordinating all Probate, Trust, and Guardianship Litigation cases.
- Collaborate with attorneys to prepare and review legal documents for contested estates, including Petitions for Administration, Trust Contests, and Guardianship Appointments.
- Manage the discovery process specifically for estate disputes, including drafting subpoenas and organizing case exhibits.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of paralegal litigation experience (Palm Beach County experience highly preferred)
- Proficiency in drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and litigation documents
- Paralegal certification (NALA) or a 2- 4 year degree in paralegal studies preferred.
- Experience with at least one trial or contested evidentiary hearing.
- Ability to handle sensitive family dynamics and the complexities of estate cases with discretion.
